Introduction

This proposal specifically documents and sets forth my candidacy for an executive level sales, marketing or operations position concentrating in life insurance settlements. The main purpose is to examine and demonstrate my tangible and intangible assets, knowledge and experience related to leadership and executive management. This proposal will outline the following:

* The feasibility of my employment within your organization
* Specific analysis of transferable skills to exceed productivity and the financial goals and objectives of your organization

Executive Summary

My past work and personal experiences have tested the limits of my personality enabling me to embrace change, continually educate myself, find success in the leadership of others and always challenge myself and others to seek more and never settle for less. There has been a void in many of the leadership roles today as confusion regarding the management of tasks is overshadowing the leadership principles necessary to empower individuals to properly and responsibly manage those tasks. The proper combination of empowerment, accountability and responsibility effectively and efficiently increases productivity, morale, self-confidence and profitability. I possess over eighteen years of experience in the following areas:

1. Leadership and management of superiors, peers, staff, teams and projects including hiring and developmental training.
2. Marketing plan development including competitive analysis, pricing strategies, forecasting and implementation and the creation of action plans.
3. Sales strategies and selling skills
4. Operations oversight including budgeting, P&L, facilities management, contractor/vendor negotiations and report development.

This experience has allowed me a multi-functional perspective in order to appreciate the roles and requirements of various corporate departments in order to develop a broad sense of applying solutions that will result in the synergistic success of the corporation.

Start-Up Summary

During the first thirty days of my employment I will create a plan to:

* Understand training and operating procedures as prescribed by the company.
* Meet with superiors to access top priorities or problems and then develop a strategic planned course of action to address these issues on an immediate nature.
* Set definable periods of review to discuss the success of the planned course of action.
* Meet with other departmental leaders to discuss multi-functionality solutions.
* Meet with team workers and subordinates.
* Receive their input as it relates to defined priorities
* Understand their needs as it relates to the accomplishment of defined goals
* Create a process flow outlining the steps necessary to meet these objectives.
* Review process flows with interdepartmental managers and revise as necessary.
* Meet with team workers and subordinates to relate their role in the accomplishment of theses objectives.
* If possible, personal fact finding meetings with each employee and team member to develop a personal and corporate understanding of their goals. (Use employee fact finding sheets)
* Monitor performance and seek feedback from all areas that are supportive and positive regarding solutions in order to meet these goals.

During the first ninety days of my employment I will plan to:

* Continually meet with superior/executive management to discuss on-going long-term planning and goals and collectively form a course of action that will consistently and continually meet and exceed them through the success of daily activities.
* Organize planned projects
* Develop and meet budgets
* Meet individually with all interdepartmental managers to discuss short and long-term planning.
* If time allows, job shadow in each cross-functional department to better understand the needs and goals of that department and how it specifically relates to the goals and objectives of my department.
* Finish meetings with direct reports
* If the position allows, interaction with customer base to fully understand the corporate to client relationship.

By demonstrating my value to my superiors, co-workers and teammates, I will thereby increase this organization's value through the company’s positive brand awareness, profitability and productivity.

I will promote myself in a manner that is reflective of the esteemed character that a company demonstrates. In most instances, perception becomes reality regardless of intent. Therefore it will be absolutely imperative that I facilitate positive leadership by my example.

I am constantly growing and learning and never plan to stop.

Weaknesses

1. Direct – I have the tendency to handle situations in a direct and succinct manner. I tend to get right to the point in order to handle the situation.
2. Multi-Tasking – Since I multi-task well, I have a tendency to want to assume additional responsibilities in order to increase my achievements. Proper time management has allowed me to better handle this issue.
3. Impatience - Since I am a doer, I want to accomplish tasks and projects in a planned yet immediate manner. I have learned to pace myself and develop a process so that I do not get ahead of others and myself.

Opportunities

1. Grow corporate profitability – I will use proper forecasting and assessment of key sales and financial ratios to plan, track and increase top and bottom line ROI.
